One of the liveliest states in the country, and thriving with talented, young musicians. Several local music venues are all over the place, giving these young rock stars a chance to show the town what they've got.

A small battle of the bands has been announced. These newly formed musical groups will compete against each other for a chance to be signed onto a major record label, the same dream that they all share as musicians.

Imagine that you and your friends are hanging out at your favorite place. You're watching a running event for your school's track and field event and are cheering on a rather handsome freshman. They're off and running and the freshman just bursts into the lead. It's like the others were walking and he was jogging. The freshman takes control immediately and finishes the mile run in just over two minutes - a world record by anyone. You're outstound and a little nervous.

Now imagine you're hanging out by yourself at the beach. You just happen to come on a day that there's a swimming contest going on. As you watch, a rather cute guy just plows into the water. The waves and current dont bother him at all. The swim ends with him leading by several seconds - if not even a minute. The shock you feel is mimicked by the other watchers.

Welcome to Mount Blanca.

Mount Blanca is nestled in the San Luis Valley, Colorado. The fourth tallest mountain in the state and one of the most prominent landmark of the valley, Mount Blanca is also home to mysteries and the 'super human' race. It is at the base of this mountain that the United States Human Testing Facilities is located, an top secret DNA testing facilities that has been running for more than eight years, since before the year of 2000. The super human, designed to out run, out swin, out bike any other normal human, have begun to escape their prisons and take life in the real world.

While most of the super human race is not much danger, there is a special strain, the Garland strain, that has been developed to become the new thing in warfare. Garland Super Humans are always males with abnormally large muscles, are always over six feet tall, and are always good looking. They're always dangerous, their brains nothing more than a bank of commands. With abilities designed to kill, the threat of the Garland strain can only be matched by the other super humans.

Not all is well underground, though. The 'designers' have begun to remove the first editions of the super human race. The Garland Super Humans (known frequently as GSH) are being trained to kill on the earlier super humans. Tired of being beaten and killed almost daily, the super humans begin their revolt and charge for freedom. The GSHs are good boys and listen to their programmers commands.

Humans have just begun to learn about the new super humans from accidental exposures. The state of Colorado is slowly turning into a state of chaos. One or two super humans have been caught by the FBI. Others have managed to mingle into society, but with the natives on edge, they live in constant danger.

Only an organized team of citizens can end the slow decline into chaos. Myna and her friends Shelby and Justice have befriended a teenage boy that has been changed to be a super human. Myna is set on saving the 'regular' super humans and demolishing the horrid testing facilities. Shelby and Justice, though reluctant to help, see their friend's good heart. Late into the night they plan.

Four teenagers cannot alone save the state of Colorado and the unfortunate super human race. The hidden testing facilities is under danger. The future alone has never looked so bleak.

Will you be the savior, or the destroyer?

Shanice looekd at Estriella when she began to talk. She sounded as if she was mumbling. Why? "Whatever," Shanice said, she was, too, getting annoyed with this little Italian b*tch. But what she didn't have to do would only save her from getting into more of a ripe mood, and making things possibly worse when she met up with Denzow later.

Shanice began to walk off, to her house, ignoring Estriella, or trying anyway. If Shanice ran into her this weekend, Estriella would seriously regret it. And Estriella could probably figure that one out on her own, so there was no need to voice that.
